I’ve just come back from a trip to Dubai. Escaping the UK winter for two weeks was exactly what I needed to recharge my batteries after the excess of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Having lived in Dubai for 4 years between 2016 and 2020, I’m lucky to still have a great group of friends to visit, plus I’ve also built a growing client base in the city. I’m delighted to have secured three new projects while I was away, with a number of others in the pipeline.
Being able to choose when, where and with who I spend my time is the ultimate freedom. One that web design continues to provide.
As my own boss, I’m incredibly fortunate to be able to set my own agenda, choose my clients and deliver the quality of work I’ve always wanted to. All while having the freedom to grab my laptop and work wherever I choose, whether that be my local coffee shop, or somewhere further afield.
